For the longest time, I have wanted to have my own agency. Actually for most of my life, I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do. I did not officially declare my college major until my senior year! How is that for procrastination? There was one thing, however, that I did know.
I knew that I wanted to work with women and I knew, at least according to my Senior Year Memory Book, that I wanted to "change my little corner of the world." I would definitely call that a mission statement.
So, twenty four years, one husband, three babies, one hermit crab, three goldfish, and two parakeets later, here I am! I am flinging my doors open and I am ready to walk hand and hand with my tribe and others, in the service of empowerment and support. Don't get me wrong, I have had lots of help and encouragement along the way. I have also had many set backs and disappointments, but I am here. I can honestly say that I wasn't sure what the manifestation of my dream was going to look like. Would I run another agency? Would I start my own practice or agency? Would I partner with others? I'd say it has looked like all of the above. I am confident in my purpose. Let's walk together to fulfill yours! Never say die. Never give up!
